ISLAMABAD: Daily wages teachers and non teaching staff of educational institutions under Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) have strong protest against non disbursement of salary since the last two months.
Young Teachers Association (YTA) while terming the act of keeping them deprived of their salaries has said that this anti teachers move has put their families and dependents on the brink of starvation.
The teachers association questioned as to why they are not being paid their salaries despite Islamabad High Court orders. This is sheer flouting of courts order, they added. “We demand of Prime Minister Imran Khan, chief justice of Pakistan, federal education minister and DG FDE to ensure implementation of court’s orders.
We are not being paid compensation against our corona virus related duty, they complained.
The worst state of affairs we are undergoing that we are not being regularized, the association said. we appeal to PM Imran Khan to regularize our services before delivering the pledge of providing 10 million jobs to the jobless people, they added.
