Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Former President and Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan while welcoming the OIC’s Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission’s (IPHRC) recent statement on Kashmir has said that owing to the dangerous situation in the occupied Kashmir it was high time that the Muslim world should reconsider its diplomatic and economic relations with India and send a message to India that inhumane treatment of Muslims in Kashmir and India would not be tolerated.
In a statement issued here on Friday the former AJK Premier said that India had been contemptuously flouting the UN and the OIC’s resolutions on Kashmir. “It is right time to hold India accountable for the war crimes its forces have been committed in Kashmir”, he said.
Rejecting the redefinition of domicile rules by the government of India, the former president said that India was hell bent on to turn the majority of Muslims into a minority to fulfill their nefarious agenda by settling non-state subjects in Occupied Kashmir under the guise of these laws. Referring to the supreme sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs the former president said that the sacred blood of Kashmiri martyrs would never go in vain. He said that the day was not far when Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir will end.
