Pakistan Railways to take decision about resuming operation on Tuesday: Sheikh Rasheed

RAWALPINDI:      The Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid has said the final decision regarding resuming the operation of Pakistan Railways will be taken on Tuesday.
According to media reports while addressing a news conference in Rawalpindi on Sunday, he said the decision will be taken after a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The Minister assured that the Standard Operating Procedures will be fully practiced in the train operations. He said the railways authorities are fully prepared to operate the trains.
He stressed that the resumption of Pakistan Railways operation is important to facilitate the passengers on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Sheikh Rashid Ahmed pledged that if the train operation was not restored, we will hand back 240 million rupees of advance booking to the passengers.
