PESHAWAR: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has sent safety equipment to forty-nine hospitals across the province.
According to the Director General PDMA, the equipment for medical staff include more than thirteen hundred N-95 masks, about fifty-two thousand surgical face masks, more than twenty thousand gloves, four thousand two hundred face shields and sanitizers.
Besides, surgical caps, safety suits, gowns, safety glasses, shoes-covers and thermal kits were also sent to the hospitals.
The Director General said the emergency center of PDMA is actively operating round the clock and people can contact toll free number 0800 01700 in emergency situation.
