CM concerned over non-implementation of SOPs,
Quetta: (Parliament Times) Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan here on Tuesday to approved recruitment of Naib Tehsildar against 58 vacant posts through Public Service Commission (PSC) to ensure merit and transparency in the recruitment process.
The Cabinet also approved the setting up of a computerized system consisting of GIS for matters relating to civil property tax as a pilot project in Quetta. The project will be implemented through Baluchistan University of Information Technology and Management Sciences. The move is aimed at expanding the property tax net.
The Cabinet also approved amendments to plan to supply electricity to rural medical centers and educational institutions through solar energy under Roshan Balochistan program.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan expressed his serious concern over violation of lockdown and non-implementation of precautionary measures by the people and shopkeepers.
“If the business community and the people do not act upon the agreed SOPs, the government will be compelled to impose lockdown again”, the chief minister said adding that shopkeepers as well as the people should abide by the SOPs and cooperate with the government to contain Coronavirus.
Thanking religious scholars for implementing the SOP the CM said that precautionary measures were being implemented in mosques.
