Court rejects bail-after-arrest of accused in Chakswari bank robbery, murder case

MIRPUR (AJK): Additional District Criminal Court Mirpur has rejected the bail-after-arrest application of the accused Naveed Aslum in famous case of robbery and murder of a security Guard Shahpal Khan of HBL Pind Khurd Chakswari branch of Mirpur district.
According to details, the accused allegedly assassinated the security guard Shapal Khan on January 23rd in 2018 during a broad-day robbery by breaking into Habib Bank Ltd Pind Khurd branch of Mirpur district.
The accused was arrested the same day through the help of the cctv camera which had recorded the crime seen.
After the evidence through the recorded statements of the eye witnesses the defense council Riaz Naveed Butt had filed bail application on statutory grounds which was rejected by the penal of additional district criminal court comprising the Additional Session judge and Distt. Qazi Mirpur on May 08 this year.
Aurangzeb Choudhry Advocate appeared as counsel of the prosecution on behalf of the HBL.
