QUETTA: (Parliament Times) On the special directives of Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan random tests for corona virus have been started at various places in Quetta here on Friday.
According to details Health department teams under the supervision of Chief Minister’s Delivery Unit have started conducting random tests in the capital city. The Chief Minister while inspecting the random testing center established at Jattak Stop near Eastern Bypass directed the authorities concern to increase the capacity of testing.
The Health Department officials present on the occasion informed the CM that the tests were being conducted in different wards of the city with the aim of monitoring the spread of the virus in the city and taking steps to prevent it. He was told that 359 tests have been conducted so far out of which 22 results have been negative and 9 positive.
