MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) Three more suspects on Tuesday were tested positive for the coronavirus raising the tally to 46 across Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the report issued by AJK Health Department, Two of the new suspects tested positive belonged to Rawalakot and one from Plandri district.
On other side, 130 more patients were discharged from various quarantine centers after being tested negative for the COVID-19, health authorities informed.
Updating the overall current COVID-19 so far situation in AJK, the health authorities said a total of 1029 suspected cases were sent for test, of whom the result of 988 had been received. 942 persons were tested negative for COVID-19 while results of 41 cases are awaited which are scheduled to reach in a day or two next.
Of the 46 suspects tested positive, 9 are admitted in Isolation Center in New City Teaching hospital Mirpur, 15 in DHQ Hospital Bhimbher, 9 in CMH Rawalakot, 1 in DHQ Hospital Kotli, 7 in Palandri DHQ Hospital and 1 in isolation hospital Muzaffarabad.
Three of the recovered patients have been discharged from New City Hospital Mirpur and CMH Rawalakot. There are 42 patients under treatment in different isolation hospitals across the state.
The AJK government has established 60 quarantine centers in all ten districts of the state while officials of the health departments deputed at entry points of the state are busy round the clock in screening of the visitors.
