Islamabad,(Parliament Times): CBR Town’s Alrazi Hospital launches Free online telemedicine service to help and serve the Patients remotely amidst the corona epidemic in the federal capital, Islamabad. The service will benefit all the people of Pakistan, especially Islamabad and Rawalpindi from CBR AL RAZI HOSPITAL online telemedicine free of charge.
It was formally inaugurated yesterday by the Registrar of Operative Societies Additional Deputy Commissioner General Islamabad Kamran Cheema, President CBR Society Altaf Ahmed Bhat and Dr Burni. On the occasion, Registrar Cooperative Societies Islamabad Kamran Cheema inspected various departments of Alrazi Hospital and paid tribute to CBR administration and said that CBR Alrazi Hospital has become a model for Cooperative Housing Societies of Islamabad and other housing societies must follow it. Registrar Cheema was briefed about the telemedicine facility by President CBRECHS Altaf Ahmed Bhat and Dr Burni. Registrar Cooperative Kamran Cheema said that the efforts of the Alrazi hospital and CBR administration to deal with the Corona outbreak are appreciative. We assure that the Co-operative Department will give all possible support to the hospital, for which the Commissioner Islamabad Amir Ali Ahmed and Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqat will visit the hospital soon. CBR Society and Al Razi Hospital are thriving under the supervision of President Altaf Ahmed Bhat, and the Telemedicine inaugurated today is the biggest step taken in such a testing time.
On this occasion, President CBR Co-operative Housing Society Altaf Ahmed Bhat offered Registrar Co-operative Kamran Cheema that if the operative department provides plots for hospitals in all Housing Societies, we will help build a hospital-like Alrazi Hospital to serve the community. He said that telemedicine is necessary for citizens in contemporary times, as a lot of people who get sick but cannot visit hospitals because of fear of corona epidemic. So we decided to provide telemedicine to all citizens for the diagnosis and treatment of their disease from a universal number. And anyone could call and get online help from respective specialists while sitting at home. President CBRECHS Altaf Ahmed Bhat further said that there are 100 beds at Al-Razi Hospital and highly trained and professional staff treat All kinds of diseases, while it is free for the needy. Furthermore, The maternity ward is large enough so that women do not have to go far away for medical needs. Bhat appreciated the efforts of the Administration of Al Razi hospital and Management of CBRECHS, especially the hospital in-charge Dr Iftikhar Burni and thanked Kamran Cheema and Inspector Asim Khan.
On this occasion, Dr. MD Iftikhar Ali Burney of the hospital gave a full briefing on telemedicine and showed it to the audience by DEMO. The hospital will have telemedicine facilities in the morning and evening hours. Secretary Society Mohammad Salim Khan, Akhlaq Masood Sindhu, Focal Person of Alrazi Hospital Haji Mohammad Farooq, Inspector Cooperative Asim Khan, Hospital Admin Usman Saeed, Shabbir Sheikh, Sheikh Muhammad Omar, Hammad Mir, Shoaib Ahmed, Engineer Mohammad Afzal and others were present on the occasion.
