Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Service for All (SFA) Welfare Society has started nationwide relief activities whereby ration is distributed amongst the poor and needy people.
According to details, rations were distributed among the poor and the needy people throughout the country under SFA Welfare Society.
1400 bags of Rashan were distributed in Quetta and Chaman, whereas 200 in Rawalpindi and 50 bags in Sargodha. Speaking on this occasion, DG SFA and Chairman TJP Mohammad Abdullah Hameed Gul said that this time is a time of severe trial in the country. Thank God, covid-19 victims are not the same in our country as other countries. People should follow government orders to defeat an outbreak like Corona. He said that till date we have not been able to make data of our labor and daily weighs workers, which is why the government is facing problem distributing aid. He said government should set up employment exchanges in every district and register the workers and day laborers across the district with the help of compiling labor data at the national level to reach these people. He added, that philanthropist and charity gentlemen should serve needy people. Care must be taken so that their children do not go hungry during the curfew.
