Karachi: Due to the lockdown initiated for the protection from corona virus, the Sindh’s Airports are closed for Domestic flights.
According to the NOTAM issued by the Civil Aviation the restriction will be implemented on March 24 at 6:00 am.
The NOTAM stated that the Jinnah International Airport Karachi and Sukkur Airport will remain closed for domestic flights, whereas both of the airports will be closed completely for flights on March 24 at 6:00 am.
It is pertinent to mention that Sindh government has initiated lockdown in the province on March 22 at 12:00 am, according to which citizens are not allowed to go outside without any particular reason.
The citizens will have to keep their ID card along with them in-case they are going out for work and the security officers will record entry for how many days, times and for what purposes the citizen came out of the house. During the lockdown the medical and grocery stores will remain open.
