ISLAMABAD: Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, SAPM on health has said World Bank (WB) will provide financial assistance of 238 million dollars to Pakistan to cope with coronavirus.
She tweeted “ people should strictly comply with precautionary measures to overcome coronavirus. The people have to demonstrate exemplary discipline to counter the challenge of coronavirus. The people have to fight against this monster with courage, determination and steadfastness. People should not go to the crowded places and they should stay at homes rather than sitting in restaurants.
She held that WB will provide financial assistance to the tune of 238 million dollars while Asian Development Bank will extend aid of 350 million dollars to overcome coronavirus.
Safeguarding the health of the people is first priority of PM Imran Khan and no negligence or slackness will be tolerated in this respect, she added. PM is personally keeping eye on the entire situation, she stated.
