Tasneem Aslam’s comments against ex PM bear no resemblance to reality: AJK PM

ISLAMABAD:    (Parliament Times)   Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan says comments by the Foreign Office’s retired spokesperson Tasneem Aslam against PML-N leader and ex Prime Minister Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif bore no resemblance to reality.

In his reactionary statement issued here on Tuesday, he condemned her remarks and added that we could only regret if the person who remained Prime Minister of the country for three times being doubted in such way.

“The commitment of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif with Pakistan is beyond any doubt”, he asserted.

“When sister of founder of Pakistan Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah Madar-e-Millat Fatima Jinnah could be declared traitor then who is left patriot? The premier questioned.

The Prime Minister underlined the need to end distribution of loyalty certificates and declaring each other’s traitors. “Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was the person who made this country a nuclear power”, he added.

He said PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif in his address in the state capital, Muzaffarabad on February 5, 2018 publically announced to support Kashmiri freedom fighters.

Raja Farooq Haider reminded that Nawaz Sharif being the Prime Minister of Pakistan at United Nation General Assembly’s forum termed Burhan Wani, a martyred leader and represented the Kashmiris’ aspirations forcefully at all available international forums.

“Such statements against the person who done tremendous work for the stability of the country’s economic condition and launching mega projects like CPEC were deplorable”, Haider added.

The AJK Prime Minister mentioned that even Maryam Nawaz has publically said that Kashmiri blood is running her veins and she equally feels the pain of Kashmiri mothers and daughters in Srinagar.-
