Former Chief Justice M Tabassum Aftab Alvi Joins Central Bar Association


MUZAFFARABAD, (Parliament Times): Former Chief Justice high court and prominent lawyer M Tabassum Aftab Alvi visited Central Bar Association (CBAM) Muzaffarabad. Mr Alvi who is known for his valor and hard headed stance in making decisions and solving cases was warmly welcomed by Nasir Masood Mughal advocate the president central bar association , Shehzad Shafi vice president, former advocate general Raja Gul Majid Khan,Sher Zaman Awan advocate and other members of the bar council. He was pondered with rose petals for his distinguished contributions for judiciary. Later on M. Tabassum Aftab Alvi addressed to the congregation of lawyers and shed light upon his thirty eight years
career attachment with judiciary “ Being a judge high court I had given more than eleven thousands & twenty three decisions, but I had never heard of anyone’s reference nor compromised on merit” said  Mr. Alvi. He vowed on lawyers not to be afraid from evils and to show their courage and grace for performing their sacred duty the rule of justice, and asked then to keep their moral high and poise of their profession. Further he said that although deciding in the presence of evils and political circumstances its very tough to take a step for deciding a case that is totally opposite to the well of some individuals who want to sabotage the law, but a pioneer of justice and with overwhelmed responsibilities we have to facilitate people and implement rule of law at any cost. He praised the respect given by CBAM. He announced that once again he will join the CBAM and continue his services for the rule of law with a new spirits.
