S. A Haidri,

Muzaffarabad: A rally was staged under the aegis Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir on the arrival of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Pakistan.

Large number of people participated in rally and chanted slogans, “Recep Tayyip Erdogan Zindabad (Long live), we need your support”.

Route of the rally was from Burhan Wani Chowk to Gharipan.

Speaking in the occasion, chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali praised the statements of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister Pakistan Imran Khan and Prime Minister Malaysia Mahatir Muhammad for Kashmir in United Nations General Assembly session.

He said, “these leaders highlighted the issues being faced by the Muslim community around the globe besides pin pointing Kashmir issue.”

He maintained that their speeches in UN session have given us encouragement and people of Kashmir feel optimistic after that.

Uzair stated that India has illegally occupied the state of Jammu and Kashmir,” human rights violations are observed at every nook and corner of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).”

We are thankful to Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the way brave Turkish President raised the voice of Kashmiri people in UN and realised the world about the importance of this issue.

He added that Muslim community should unite to face the challenges.

They appealed the Turkish President including Malaysian and Pakistan government to call a session of OIC on Kashmir issue.

People of Kashmir expect from the brethren in Turkey to raise voice for the people of Kashmir to stop human rights violations and play their role for Plebiscite in the region according to UN resolutions.
