ISLAMABAD. (Parliament Times) : The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has urged the world community to take notice of Modi’s fascist policies which not only trampling the UN resolutions but also violating bilateral agreements with Pakistan. Speaking at the oath taking ceremony of Kashmir Journalist Forum as chief guest here on Monday, he called for national harmony to foil nefarious designs of Modi government.
The Prime Minister said that Narrinder Modi through its war threats wanted to keep us in psychological pressure. “Modi will never opt for war. However, the situation in region demands immediate increase in the military power”, he stated.
He further said that India had created its soft image among the international community but the country is totally opposite to its fake claims. “People had stood up against the controversial citizen law”, he added.
Terming Narrinder Modi a “show-piece”, Raja Farooq Haider said that real brains working behind Modi are sitting somewhere else. “We shouldn’t take Modi’s stupid talk seriously”, Haider said. Referring to the situation in the held valley, he said Kashmir is the issue of our life and death. He said despite worst Indian atrocities, valiant people of IOJK are determined to achieve their goal, which is freedom of their motherland from Indian clutches.
The Prime Minister, while criticizing the silence of Muslim world over the deteriorating situation of Kashmir quoted tragedy of Karbala and regretted that Muslims even witnessing the worst atrocities in Karabala and Kashmir maintained their silence. He urged journalist community to fulfill their responsibility and highlight the Indian barbarism and state terrorism through their pen.
Raja Farooq Haider stressed the need for objective journalistic practices maintaining the credibility and neutrality in the profession. He said government is the ultimate beneficiary of the freedom of the press as suppressing the truth would result into the state of conspiracy theories. On this occasion, Prime Minister announced three million rupees donation for the Kashmir Journalist Forum. Meanwhile, Prime Minister also administered oath to the newly elected office bearers of Ghazi-e-Millat Press Club Rawalakot here on Monday. Addressing on the occasion, Raja Farooq Haider Khan urged journalists to play their role in highlighting Kashmir dispute in its true perspective at international fora.
