Police recover looted mobile sets worth Rs 4 million; burglar arrested

ZHOB:    Zhob police claimed to have arrested the ring leader of a gang involved in different robberies and recovered mobile sets worth Rs 4 million here.

Addressing a press conference District Police Officer Muhammad Anwer Badini said that the police headed by Deputy Superintendent Police Ghafoor Khan Mandokhail and Station House Officer Haji Muhammad Zimri raided a house at railway station colony and arrested the ring leader of a gang involved in different robberies including the mobile shop that looted on market road earlier this month.

“Following such a massive robbery the police party on a tip-off raided a house at railway station colony and arrested Jamal Kakar hailing from Killa Saifullah and recovered the looted mobile sets worth Rs 4 million. His absconding accomplice would soon be behind the bars,” he said.

“The protection of life and property of the citizens is the prime responsibility of police,” DPO Badini added.

DSP Ghafoor Khan Mandokhail, SHO Haji Muhammad Zimri, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ajmal Mandokhail, ASI Rozi Muhammad Mandokhail, ASI Dawood Mandokhail, ASI Abdul Rehman Pathan, ASI Hazrat Usman Sherani, ASI Akhter Gul Kakar, ASI Muhammad Hussain Safi, ASI Abdul Razzaq Mandokhail, political leader Abdul Sattar Kakar, president PTI Dawood Khan Mandokhail and secretary general Akhter Shah Kakar were also present on the occasion.

DPO announced cash prizes and commendatory certificates for the police team while Sattar Kakar, Dawood Mandokhail and Akhter Shah Kakar on the occasion presented cash prizes to the police team who took part in the raid.

It is to be mentioned that on January 3rd the burglars broke into a mobile shop on Market road at night that is located at a stone’s throw distance form the police station.
