Cricket team receives kits before ZSL tournament starts in the district

ZHOB: In order to promote the spirit of sports among the youth, AHSAS-Pk a non-governmental organization distributed cricket kits among the Kakar Khurasaan Eagle cricket team here.

The distribution ceremony held at BRSP office, that was chaired by manager of the team Zafarullah Mardanzai.

District Programme Manager BRSP Sherani Qasim Sherani, Monitoring Officer Rasheed Nasar, Admin Officer Noor Muhammad Mandokhail, CBO Field Unit One Wahid Shah Kakar, Gul Muhammad Mandokhail, Asad Betani, Shereen Khan Nasar and a large number of players were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the participants president AHSAS-Pk Shahbaran Mandokhail said that the kits distribution is aimed at promoting the spirit of sports among the players and to encourage them.

“Cricket kits have been provided to the youths in order to involve them in sports activities and to keep them away from social evils particularity drugs and keep them mentally and physically fit,” adding, the sports was not only important for the health but also for ensuring a peaceful and friendly environment in the valley. AHSAS-Pk president also announced Rs. 15000 cash prize for the team.

District Programme Manager BRSP Sherani Qasim Sherani, Monitoring Officer Rasheed Nasar, Admin Officer Noor Muhammad Mandokhail, CBO Field Unit One Wahid Shah Kakar, Gul Muhammad Mandokhail, Asad Betani and Shereen Khan Nasar while speaking on the occasion appreciated the provision of kits to the players.

The team manager Zafar Mardanzai said that Kakar Khurasaan Eagle cricket team comprises the best players of the district. The team will also participate in upcoming Zhob Super League tournament that will be started next week. The players also expressed pleasure over receiving the sports kits.
