Bagh: (Parliament Times) The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that India does not have the courage to cast its evil eye on Azad Kashmir.
Prime Minister Khan made these assertions at foundation stone laying ceremony of cardiology Hospital here on Wednesday. Minister of Information, Tourism, IT and Youth Affairs Raja Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas, Forest Minister Sardar Mir Akbar Khan, Health Minister Dr Najib Naqi, Member Assembly, Abdul Rashid Tarabi, Government officials and a large number of PML-N workers were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion the PM said, “India’s cowardly army cannot dare to cast an evil eye on Azad Kashmir. Kashmiris stand shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan army and are ever ready to defend every inch of the motherland”. Stressing the need for complete unanimity and concurrence at all levels the PM said, “It is time to promote unity and solidarity and avoid ideological chaos”.
Regarding the newly constructed Heart Hospital he said, “The credit for this goes to former Prime Minister of Pakistan; Mr. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif who on the demand of Mushtaq Manhas announced to build the hospital”. He said that the hospital costing 8 crore rupees will be accomplished soon. “We have no personal clash or enmity with anyone, whosoever. We need to move forward and work together for the development and welfare of the people of the liberated region”, he said adding that people were happy with the present government’s performance. He said that it was for the first time in the region’s political history that the PML-N government has contributed to the development funds. He said that the development process that has begun across Azad Kashmir, including the Bagh District, will continue after 2021. “We have disbursed funds exclusively to all constituencies”, the PM said. Referring to the performance of his government, the Prime Minister said that the greatest achievement of his government was to make Khatm-e-Nabouwat Act as part of the constitution. In addition to this, he said that the government passed the historic thirteenth amendment, introduced, NTS, launched Free Emergency Services and Community Infrastructure Development Programs besides increasing number of judges and upgraded all major highways across the state.
The Prime Minister said that the morale of Kashmiris settled in the adjacent areas of line of control was high. He said that the brave kashmiris were not afraid of Indian shelling on civilian population. In occupied Kashmir, he said, “Unarmed Kashmiris are fighting against Indian occupation forces who are equipped with heavy arms”.
Later, the Prime Minister inaugurated the District Complex Garden and approved the establishment of 100 beds for the patients in the District Hospital and the Sub-Division of Electricity in Radha.
