Lyceum school announces its annual results; DOE appreciates performance

ZHOB: Lyceum School System Zhob announced its annual results during a function held here. Chief guest of the results announcement and prize distribution ceremony was District Officer Education Sherani Payo Muhammad Mandokhail. School staff, parents and students in a large number attended the function that was commenced with the recitation of the holy Qur’an. Senior teachers Muhammad Hassan Tuniwal, Sakhi Majran, Attiq-ur-Rehman and Juma Rahim in their introductory remarks highlighted the importance of education and achievements by the institution.

Speaking on the occasion chief guest DOE Payo Muhammad Mandokhail appreciated the school’s performance and teachers’ services with dedication and passion.

“Teaching is a noble profession as the teacher has a vital role in the society to educate the future of a nation. The teachers should impart quality education to the young generation, enabling them to cope with the challenges,” he said, adding that there was no dearth of talent and it is observed that the teachers here are doing their best. Education officer admired the teaching staff.

He congratulated all the students on their success and all the efforts they had put in prior to the annul exams. The students presented speeches and tubule to remember the APS Peshawar students. The students in their speeches highlighted the supreme sacrifices of APS students and said the nation was still grieved at the brutality committed against the innocent students in Peshawar five years back.

“The supreme sacrifices rendered by the APS students strengthened our national resolve and determination that we cannot be deterred by such cowardly acts and we will defeat the extremism and illiteracy with full force.” They said.

The chief guest distributed trophies among position holder students and prizes among the school staff. They also prayed for the APS students and the bereaved families.
