ZHOB: Deputy District Education Officer Kakar Khurasaan Taza Khan Nasar has asked the teachers to perform their duties with honesty and missionary zeal to improve education standard in the district. He also exhorted the students to concentrate on their studies and leave no stone unturned in the future.
He was speaking at the annual results and prize distribution ceremony held at the Government high school Killi Appozai here on Saturday.
DDO Taza Khan Nasar was the chief guest of the event while senior teacher Abdul Ghaffar Ghaffarak Appozai presided over the event.
Senior teachers, school staff, parents and students in a large number attended the annual results and prize distribution function. The function commenced with the recitation of the holy Qur’an and national anthem.
School principal Hassan Khan Mandokhail and SST Abdul Qayyum Mandokhail in their introductory remarks highlighted the importance of education and achievements by the state-run institution. They said the school situated in the outskirts of the city was established fifty years ago and now around 500 students are getting education, who are belonging to different parts of the city. They said 80% students who took part in the examinations have been promoted to next classes.
Senior teacher Abdul Ghaffar Ghaffarak Appozai appreciated the school’s performance and teachers’ services with dedication and passion. He stressed the need for hard work and character building of the students. He said students passed out from the government-run educational institutions in the district are now serving on high positions in the country. He admired the teaching staff.
The chief guest congratulated all the students on their success and all the efforts they had put in prior to the annul exams. The guests distributed trophies and cash prizes among the position holder students, while the distinguished guests were presented souvenirs.
