PPP AJK Latif Akbar expresses concerns on Asif Zardari health, stresses for private medical board


ISLAMABAD, (Parliament Times):  Pakistan People’s Party Azad Jammu and Kashmir (PPP AJK) chapter President Chaudhary Latif has said that the health concerns of former President Asif Ali Zardari have deteriorated to a certain extent but the government of Pakistan is deliberately not taking any action on it. While talking to journalists here on Tuesday, he said that incumbent federal government is committing serious negligence regarding the treatment of former President Asif Ali Zardari and is dealing with inappropriate behavior which is not acceptable in any way. He cautioned that forbidding access of private doctors to Asif Ali Zardari is immoral conspiracy, “despite the doctors examination of his severe illness, he has been subjected to political vengeance” Akbar maintained. He said, “Keeping the former president imprisoned without any crime is the worst injustice.”

He reiterated that the demand of private medical board for the treatment of Asif Ali Zardari is justified and immediate treatment is required for his good health. He added that sugar level of former President is also very alarming and can consequently be harmful for his life if a proper treatment under private medical board does not take place. “Even the law guarantees the treatment of any prisoner then demand for former President Cure is not an exception” Akbar added.

He demanded for the provision of all necessary medical treatment for Asif Ali Zardari before long.
