ISLAMABAD,(Parliament Times): Chairman Tehreek-e-Jawanan Pakistan and Kashmir (TJPK) Abdullah Hamid Gul Wednesday urged the prime minister to consider Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s just demands to end deadlock.
He made these remarks in his detailed meeting with the JUI-F head Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence here where both the leaders discussed post Azadi March situation and its implications.
The TJPK Chairman said that the government should consider the earnest demands of JUI-F and Prime Minister Imran Khan should not feel any harm in accepting Maulana’s legitimate claims. He should show openness and sobriety in dealing with this situation amicably, Abdullah Gul said.
“The government do not implies sentiments and harsh words rather embodies the bright example of patience which has become rare for our nation,” he added.
Abdullah Gul suggested that the government should include people complying with Maulana’s temperament and ideology other than his political opponents which would pave the way for ending political crisis.
He went on to mention that the government should revisit its political tone while addressing the Azadi March situation.
“Maulana is my elder and I have a respectful relationship with him which shows the tradition and norms of my family. I have met with the JUI-F chief not as a government spokesman rather representative of the state,” he noted.
State institutions, he said are responsible for the security of the country and the nation where the latter express its proud on the state institutions. Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said, “The charter of demand of my party is the joint one point agenda of the masses and no compromise would b made on it.” The government, he said had provided the grounds for the Azadi march and it would not even consider to withdraw from our principle stance.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said, “I have not come to save my politics rather the state.”
