50,000 scholarships to be granted to deserving students under Ehsas Programme: Firdous Ashiq Awan
Islamabad: Special Advisor to Prime Minister for information and broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that to promote uniform and quality education is the mission of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
In her message on social networking site twitter, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that 50,000 scholarships would be given to deserving students under Ehsas Programme and this would be applicable to all government universities.
She said these scholarships will be granted to students of those families whose monthly income is less than Rs 45000.
50 percent quota would be allocated for females, while 2 percent for disabled, she added.
Books, Transport, residence and other facilities will also include in the scholarship.
Scholarships will be applicable to 152 government universities.
