Islamabad: (Parliament Times) President Islamabad Industrial Association M Farid Akram has said that Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) had played pivotal role in
national economic development and always presented viable suggestions for implementation
with regard to expansion of exports and industrial development which had been acknowledged
in letter and spirit. He stated this while addressing dinner hosted in the honour of founder
group members contesting in ICCI forthcoming elections. Former Presidents, Members and
prominent personalities of business community participated in the dinner. M Farid Akram
expressed the hope that founder group would set new historical examples in the Chamber
Elections by its land slide victory. He said Founder Group is based on true representative of
business community which had given due priority to the sufferings of traders, manufacturers
and investors. He mentioned projects of Dry port Road construction, rehabilitation, allocation
of Mosque, establishment of Dispensary, resolving trade change issues and matters pertaining
to Capital Development Authority which initiated by the Founder Group. M.Farid Akram
disclosed that Flour, Marble, Steel Mills, Soap, Pharmaceutical, Vegetable Oil and other Mills
owners also announced their un-conditional support to Founder Group in ICCI Elections. He said
the day of September 18, 2019 will be dawn with the victory of Founder Group. Former
President Islamabad Chamber Zafar Bakhtawri, Chairman ICCI Construction Committee Khalid
Javed and former President Tariq Sadiq in their addresses pointed out industrial development
contributions of Founder Group. It was stated 50 thousand sappling were planted with the
efforts of Founder Group which is a record in Pakistan. Vice President Industrial Association
Nasir Qauresi, Mirza Muhammad Ali and other speakers also share their views and assured
their full support to Funder Group in ICCI Elections.
