Muzaffarabad: Pasban-e-Hurriyat Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir and Refugees staged a rally on abrogation of article 370 and 35-A against Indian government here on Sunday.
A large number of post 1990 Refugees and citizens gathered at Burhan Wani Chowk and marched towards Gharipan besides chanting Anti India and pro freedom slogans.
People in the protest were holding banners and placards stated that Indian forceful abrogation to change Jammu and Kashmir autonomous status under surveillance of 0.9 million army is heinous crime against humanity.
People in the protest also passed 11 resolutions stated, “1- Jammu and Kashmir is disputed territory consists of Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir and we demand its future according to the resolutions of United Nations, 2- we reject India’s unilateral decision to divide the the state of Jammu and Kashmir, 3- we reject the decision being taken by Indian Assembly and declare it a dubious attempt of Indian government to change the demography of the state from Muslim majority into minority. ”
The next three resolutions were,” 4- we demand to end the continuous curfew in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir for the last 21 days, raids, imprisonment of youngsters and killing of Kashmiris as war crimes, 5- This gathering demands UN to resolve Kashmir issue according to UN resolutions before long, 6- we demand United Nations,Security Council, international human rights organizations to uplift curfew and open telecommunication system besides evacuation of armed forces from populated areas of Indian Occupied Kashmir. ”
People in the protest also demanded Pak Army to send its troops in IOK stated,” 7- we demand Government of Pakistan (GoP) to send its troops in IOK as being the important member regarding Kashmir issue, 8- we demand GoP for a strong diplomatic policy against Indian government, 9- we demand GoP for immediate and concrete measures to save humanity in Jammu and Kashmir, ”
The last two resolutions were, “10-we demand Prime Minister AJK to announce the date for ceasefire line crossing according to the decision taken in All parties conference, 11- we demand to ease restrictions on militant organizations who are fighting for just freedom movement from Indian Occupation in IOK. “
