Solidarity with Kashmiris; FC, CM Advisor hold rallies in Zhob

ZHOB: In order to express solidarity with Kashmiris and condemn the Indian aggression, Advisor to CM Mitha Khan Kakar led ‘Kashmir Rally’ from Zhob to the provincial capital here. A large number of people participated in the rally and chanted slogans in the favour of Kashmiris. Mitha Kakar belongs to the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP). The participants were carrying national and Kashmir flags and banners inscribed with slogans in the favour of Kashmiris. Talking to journalist before the rally he said that the indigenous struggle launched by the people of Kashmir for their legitimate right to self-determination in line with resolutions passed by the United Nations Security Council, could not be suppressed by the brutal Indian forces in Indian Occupied Kashmir, he said.

Meanwhile, FC Balochistan also held rallies at Zhob Militia headquarters, 104 Wing and 52 Wing and expressed solidarity with the Kashmiris. The first rally took out from FC headquarters led by Commandant ZM Col Tahir Bashir that culminated at Number One ground. Addressing on the occasion Col. Tahir Bashir, Fazal Amin Mandokhail, Syed Afzal Shah and others expressed concern over the silence of UN and human rights organizations over brutalities faced by the people of occupied Kashmir. They called upon the international community to force India to give Kashmiris the right of self-determination, for which they struggled seven decades.

Wing Commander Lt Col Zahid Mehmood led a rally in Mani Khwa of Sherani district. The participants of the rally marched from Ahmedi Darga cross towards wing headquarters. Lt Col. Zahid Mehmood, Fazal Amin Mandokhail, Razzaq Sherani, Molvi Sharaf-ud-Din Sherani, Khairullah Sherani and Ghafoor Sherani said that the rallies and participation thousands of people in every nook and corner of the province indicate that they were with the Kashmiris and against the Indian aggression.

“National unity is the need of the hour in the wake of the recent move by India to revoke the special Constitutional status of Indian-held Kashmir through repealing Article 370”, they added.

In Sherani headquarters, the 73rd Independence Day observed as Kashmir solidarity day with a commemorative ceremony. A flag hoisting event also held at the newly inaugurated headquarters. District Education Officer Sheikh Musa Khan Mandokhail presided over the event. A larger number of officials and notables participated in the event. Speaking on the occasion Sheikh Musa Khan Mandokhail, Payo Muhammad Mandokhail and others said that Pakistan came into being owing to the struggle and sacrifices rendered by our leaders and forefathers. They paid rich tributes to national heroes and all those who rendered sacrifices for the independence. A rally was also taken out to highlight the plight of oppressed people in occupied Kashmir.
