Muzaffarabad: Protest Procession followed by a rally was held against incumbent Indian government on the abrogation of Article 35-A and amendment in 370 here on Monday.
Protestors in the rally organized under the aegis of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir marched from Burhan Wani Chowk to District complex Muzaffarabad.
While addressing the protest procession, speakers said that the decision of Indian government is against the resolutions of United Nations (UN), people of Jammu and Kashmir reject all ammendments in section 370 to abrogate 35-A.
Protestors reiterated that India cannot fulfill her desire to divide the state of Jammu and Kashmir, “Kashmir is an undivided territory having Muslim majority and its identity shall remain at any condition” speakers stated.
People in the rally said that Indian want to threaten the masses in Occupied Kashmir by imposing curfew, committing human rights violations, search operations, imprisonments of Kashmiri leadership and atrocities on Line of Control.
“State of Jammu and Kashmir is a conflict area between India and Pakistan according to the resolutions of UN and its decision of annexture is yet to be decided, India has violated international codes and ethics by such kind of abrogation” speakers added.
Protestors demanded UN to take stern notice of Indian aggression to suppress the voice of Kashmiri people and to implement its resolutions on Kashmir before long.
Earlier, protestor blocked the main road by setting tyres on fire besides holding black flags and expressed their condemnation on the abrogation of article 370 and 35 A by chanting slogans against Indian government.
Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Vice Chairman International forum for justice and Human rights Mushtaq ul Islam, Shaukat Javed Mir, Qari Ateeq ur Rehman Danish, Raja Muhammad Arif, Awais Mughal, Usman Ali Hashim, Yasir Naqvi, Shafiq Inqalabi and others were also present in the rally.
