ZHOB: In order to highlight the importance of science and culture, girl students of Government Girls Degree College Zhob put on display scientific models and traditional handicrafts for the first time in the history that attracted the visitors. The exhibition featured dozens of models. Besides science models and traditional handicraft, the students also portrayed traditional life of a Pashtoon society in their work.
The brilliant students of GGDC entertained the visitors keenly taking interest in getting knowledge with the help of models and projects put on display at exhibition. Human heart, planets and sugar industry were some of the models and projects prepared and displayed by the students.
Deputy Commissioner Taha Saleem, who inaugurated the exhibition along with principal of the college Rubina Mukhtar took round of the colorful exhibition and appreciated the exhibits on display.
“The students showed off their artistic skills and displayed their knowledge of science through various projects, they not only put up impressive projects but also explained very effectively, she said.
Never before such an exhibition had been set up here at the college, Rubina added.
All the students who produced the models received great applause from visitors and said they felt encouraged by the appreciation that boosted their confidence.
Deputy Commissioner also appreciated the young talent and its skillfully built models. He said the enthusiasm he witnessed was wonderful and directed the college authority to organize such creative activities also in future, so that the students could learn and grasp new concepts. The prizes were also distributed among the girl students.
