Pasban e Hurriat welcomes President Trump’s mediation offer on Kashmir issue.

Muzaffarabad: Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir welcomed the US President Donald Trump’s statement for mediation on Kashmir issue, termed it as the result of sacrifices and struggle of the people of Kashmir for freedom movement.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali said that now the world has realized that Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed territory and human right are violated in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).

He commended that President United States of America (USA) Donald Trump’s might also has admired that people in Jammu and Kashmir under Indian occupation are deprived of their basic human rights, he said, in this regard, international arbitration is inevitable.

Uzair Ghazali reiterated that Kashmir issue has become flash point worldwide due to deteriorating human rights violations in IOK besides tireless struggle for liberation of Kashmiris’.

“Our youngsters in IOK have sacrificed their lives and this is process is unceasing, so now world has realized that the genocide of Muslims in Kashmir must stop” he maintained.

He said that Kashmiri people have been subjected to the forced slavery of India for the last 71 years and their rights have been violated by Indian armed forces.

“Under these circumstances, the President USA realized the sensitivity of Kashmir and offered himself for negotiator is great success of the people of Kashmir” Ghazali added.

He said that now the USA government should play its role for a peaceful, sustainable and permanent solution to the Kashmir issue.

Uzair Ghazali also appealed to United Nations, Organization of Islamic Countries and all other peace loving nations to view and play their role on this very serious issue of Kashmir.

Moreover, Ghazali also appealed to the Government of India, its political parties and the people to set aside the intransigency and give the people of Jammu & Kashmir their right to live independently.
