RAWALPINDI: (Parliament Times) Municipal Corporation – Rawalpindi (MCR) has resolved 88 % complaints received through Pakistan Citizen Portal.
According to data, the MCR has received a total of 2156 complaints since portal launching and 1886 were resolve which is 88 % of the total complaints. While 268 complaints are still in process.
The data shows that 107 complaints related to the regulation department are in-progress while 85 related to Infrastructure department, 50 related to the planning department and 26 related to the finance department are also in process.
It is pertinent to mention that the public body does not have any complaint in escalated, super escalated or review category, which shows the good citizen’s grievance redressal system
Commenting on the performance of the Citizen Portal, Kamran Khan, a resident of the Satellite Town Rawalpindi, has said that it is a vital source of linkage between the government and the people for public welfare.
