Kashmiris and Pakistanis bonded in an inseparable bond: Ghazali

    S. A Haidri,

Muzaffarabad: Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali said that people of Jammu and Kashmir have decided their future before the independence of Pakistan.

In a statement issued here on Friday, he said Kashmiri leadership on 19 July 1947 passed a resolution to annex with Pakistan and expressed their right of self determination with Pakistan.

He said, “People of Kashmir feel proud to have Pakistani flag as their shroud, our relation with Pakistan is religious, cultural and spiritual and is un-separable.”

He said that our (Kashmiri) foresight leadership understood that the future of Kashmir is unsafe and horrible with India due to religious and cultural differences. While, they (our elders) felt safe being annexed with Pakistan and passed a resolution even before the independence of Pakistan that people of Kashmir will annex with Pakistan.

Uzair Ahmed reiterated that United Nations gave the right of self determination on the basis of this resolution but India violated international laws on 27th October 1947 and militarily occupied the State.

“People in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir are being killed, tortured and raped, even the basic human rights violations have been observed in every nook and corner of the occupied state” he said, in this regard, the decision of elders was right as they knew that we cannot live with India.

Ghazali stated that struggle of freedom and annexture with Pakistan have become the slogan of every single Kashmiri living in Indian Occupation.

He added that India has suppressed the voice of Kashmiri people who chant slogans for freedom.

He appealed the Government of Pakistan to launch a strong campaign for Kashmir freedom of movement on international level to construe the dream of our liberation and annexture with Pakistan.
