Rawalpindi: Two thousand Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation (RMC) retired employees have voiced strong protest against non- payment of pension.
According to media reports two thousands employees of Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation stand deprived of their pension. Funds transfer cases have been sent to Commissioner of Rawalpindi.
Action committee president Tahir Khan, General Secretary Malik Muhammad Azam and Joint Secretary Ghulam Sabir demanded of Rawalpindi Commissioner to expedite approval as the families of these retired employees have been put on the brink of starvation due to non disbursement of pension.
