AJK’s PM discusses Kashmir issue with EU’s officials in Brussels

BRUSSELS: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kahsmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan met high ranking European Union (EU) officials in Brussels, the capital of Belgium.

Earlier,  the AJK’s PM who is on a visit to Brussels on invitation of Chairman Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU) Mr Ali Raza Syed, was warmly received by the KC-EU senior representatives on his arrival at the airport.

During his meeting with EU’s officials, which was also attended by Chairman Kashmir Council EU Ali Raza Syed, senior representatives of KC-EU Ambassador Anthony Crasner and Endre Barces, AJK’s PM discussed dispute of Kashmir and specially issue of human rights violation committed by Indian forces in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK).

The Premier of AJK also visited the office of United Nation in Brussels and hailed a recent report of this international body on human rights violations in IHK. He asked that factfinding missions should be sent to IHK and an international independent enquiry should be conducted in light of this year and last year’s reports of United Nation on human rights abuses in the occupied territory.

During his stay in Brussels, PM Raja Farooq Haider also visited secretariat of Kashmir Council EU, where he met Chairman Kashmir Council EU Ali Raza Syed, senor representatives of the council Ambassador Anthony Crasner, Enre Barces and Romona Benzer.

AJK’s PM praised efforts of Kashmir Council EU for highlighting Kashmir issue in Europe and said, we highly regard these determinations on the great cause of Kashmir.

Chairman Kashmir Council EU Ali Raza Syed also lauded struggles of AJK’s PM Raja Farooq Haider for constantly raising Kashmir issue at the international level for many years. He added, these efforts will give durable and long-standing results.

Before his visit to Belgium Raja Farooq Haider Khan also visited Spain and Italy.
