Ch. Aziz pays rich tributes to Gogdar Martyrs on their 3rd martyrdom anniversary

Haveli: (Parliament Times) Minister for Works and Communication Ch. Muhammad Aziz while paying glowing tributes to martyrs of Gogdar has reiterated his pledge to carry forward the mission of martyrs who he said have laid down their lives for a great cause.

Ch. Aziz made these assertions while addressing a function held at his residence here on Tuesday. He said that the best way to offer tribute to the martyrs was to serve the downtrodden masses of the region besides working for the development of the district Haveli. Denouncing the incident he said that killing of innocent people at Gogdar was the bleakest chapter of AJK’s political history. Highlighting the power of vote he told the participants of the gathering that “it was a dastardly incident but we have to avenge the killings of our supporters through democratic means and teach a lesson to rivals who had resorted to mean tactics during 2016 general elections”. He said that the PML-N adversaries were trapped in a blind alley. The people of the region he said have rejected their policies and were joining PML-N in large numbers because of the party’s agenda of development in the state.
