AJK PM says new strategy would be evolved to highlight Kashmiris’ voice at Int’l level


MUZAFFARABAD:  (Parliament Times)     The AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan said new strategy would be evolved to highlight Kashmiris’ voice at international level.

Talking to a foreign delegation of Kashmiris led by Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fair that called on him here on Friday he said Kashmiris are the real party of Kashmir dispute and their voice is listened by the world. The political leadership of Kashmir and APHC would have to play their part unitedly, he believed. He said overseas Kashmiris have very important role in Kashmir liberation struggle. He told the delegation that Kashmir issue was one of PML-N govenrment’s top priorities.

The members of delegation had Iftar with the Prime Minister. They thanked the Premier for holding burial the burial of Yousuf Buchh with state honour. Mr. Haider said late Yousuf Bachh was one of the greatest leaders of Kashmir liberation struggle. He said Kashmiris by offering unprecedented sacrifices had carried the liberation struggle into a decisive phase. We need to move ahead in an organized manner and let the world know that Kashmiris were struggling for their right to self determination which was also recognized by the world body, he stated.

He was of the view that Kashmiri leadership and APHC leaders should be sent abroad at different forums as the world listens better the voice of Kashmiris. He said Pakistan that was advocate of Kashmiris was their real goal. There should be complete political and national solidarity in Pakistan for Kashmiris. He said politicians and leaders of Pakistan should evolve a national policy on Kashmir to highlight Kashmir issue at diplomatic level. The Executive Director Kashmir American Council Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai appreciated the efforts of the Prime Minister and invited him to visit United State.
