AJK PM warns India that if she did not stop atrocities & human rights abuses the people could break the LoC

MUZAFFARABAD:   (Parliament Times)     The AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider warned India that if she did not stop atrocities and massive human rights abuses in occupied Kashmir people of AJK could break the Line of Control( LoC ) to help out their brethren struggling for liberation from India.

He was addressing a ceremony held under the auspices of Janmu and Kashmir Liberation Cell to pay rich tributes to political and religious services of Mir Waiz Moulvi Muhammad Yousuf Shah on his 52nd anniversary here on Thursday.

Mir Waiz was a historic personality who devoted his whole life for Kashmir liberation struggle, he added. He said there was no precedence in subcontinent history of the tenacity and courage with which Kashmiri nation was resisting 4th largest military of the world in IOK.

He said Mir Waiz was from a religious family and he completed his studies in Darul Aloom Deoband but he also guided Kashmiri Muslims in political arena. When government put ban on sermon of Eidul Fitr in Indian Kashmir, Mir Waiz along with other religious and political leaders launched a struggle against it. Mir Waiz led a simple life which is clear from his visit to AJK when he came with the only dress that he had put on. He did not make money; rather served Kashmiri nation with all the commitment and passion. I clearly remember that he was one of the most respected figures of his time, he stated. He said we should all make efforts to complete the mission left by Mir Waiz.

Referring to Kashmir issue he said Kashmir liberation struggle would never be cooled down as Kashmiri youth, women, elderly people have shed their sacred blood for it. He also expressed thanks to Pakistanis for expressing solidarity and overwhelming support to their struggling brethren in IOK. The commitment of armed forces of the country for Kashmiri people has always been exemplary, he remarked. He assured APHC leaders that people and government of AJK stand behind them in their just struggle for liberation. He said we have set aside 5 billion’s package for people living close to LoC who are victim of Indian forces firing.

The Pemier also mentioned ongoing projects of his government in Muzaffarabad including construction of parade ground, Eidgah, vegetable market, walk way, Lal chowk, Shah Suleman Bridge, cardiac hospital and construction of family parks.
