ISLAMABAD: An accountability court has on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of fake bank accounts case against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur till May 30.
The case was postponed as the copies of the interim reference – filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) – could not be provided to erstwhile president Asif Zardari and his sister, Faryal Talpur.
Let it be known that the court had directed all the suspects to assure their presence in today’s hearing.
On the other hand, Asif Ali Zardari has demanded the authorities to take action against the anti-corruption watchdog chairman. The NAB chief’s interview was a violation of the law, he maintained.
