ISLAMABAD:     Supreme Court (SC) has rejected review and miscellaneous petitions of 8 employees of PIA in fake degree case.

A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Azmat Saeed took up the case for hearing Monday.

Justice Azmat Saeed remarked “ what review of its own decision court should make. Why not the order be issued for registration of case against fake degree holders by reviewing the decision. Mockery of SC has been made . No respect or honor is left for the court.

The counsel for the petitioners prayed that what order has been given by the court is being misinterpreted. The respective courts are not ready to hear us due to SC decision.

The court ordered the concerned courts should decide the petitions of PIA employees according to law.

PIA employees including Shazia Afridi, Samina Qureshi, Abdul Rauf Beg, Nazar Khan, Kamran Khan, Tahira Sultana, Sana Gul and Shakeeb Shaukat had submitted petitions in the SC.

During the course of hearing of the case, Justice Azmat Saeed while expressing annoyance with Omar Lakhani conunsel for PIA remarked “ if you are found of making speech, then deliver it somewhere else. You don’t know about the case and come here. Go and take admission in law college again.
