    Doctors to end strike in Lady Reading hospital Peshawar for two days

    Peshaw:     Doctors in Lady Reading Hospital of Peshawar has announced to end strike for two days.

    Doctors in K-P government hospitals are on strike for the last 4 days against inappropriate behavior of provincial minister for health Dr Hisham Inam Ullah.

    Convener of K-P doctor’s council Dr Siraj-ul-Islam has said that OPDs will remain open in lady reading hospital however, strike will continue in all remaining hospitals including Khyber Teaching hospital, Hayat Abad medical complex.

    He said next strategy will be decided after meeting with Chief Minister K-P Mehmood Khan.

    He said if any action is taken against doctors then they will boycott the talks.

    Talks of any type will not be held in the presence of provincial minister for health Dr Hisham Inam Ullah, he said.

    It is vital to mention here that on May 16, hot words were exchanged by PM Imran Khan’s cousin and associate professor Dr Zia-u-Deen.
    During which Dr Zia alleged that guards of Hisham Inam-Ullah subjected him torture.
