ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) The AJK Information Minister Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas has said next fiscal years’ budget of PML-N government would be historical.
Talking to media here on Saturday he assured that party workers and supporters would be included in the consultation process on important decisions.
“There could be different opinions and views in the party but it is crystal clear that Raja Farooq Haider Khan would be prime minister for the entire term of the party in government” he said.
He made it clear that Farooq Haider Khan was nominated prime minister by Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He said PML-N AJK stands with Sharif who is expected to come out of jail soon to lead the people of the country. He added that Maryam Nawaz through her steadfast struggle and sincerity of purpose won the hearts of party workers.
Minhas said 13th amendment empowered the state which would not be rolled back. However, he said 14th amendment could be introduced for betterment as constitution was an evolutionary process.
The minister said development of state media was one of the priorities of the government. He explained that outstanding dues of development budget would be paid within this month.
AJK Prime Minister has directed to set aside one percent development budget in PC-I for advertisement, he stated. He said normal budget for advertisement has also been risen significantly. The longstanding demand of state’s newspapers regarding PPRA has been accepted, he remarked. He said all the advertisements would be issued as per policy of AJK information department.
Minhas said AJK government achieved milestones in good governance, Kashmir liberation struggle, empowering the state and financially turning it to self-relance. The rest would be done in the next two years, he assured.
