PM statement has been presented out of context: PM office spokesperson

ISLAMABAD:     Spokesperson Prime Minister (PM) office has said statement given by PM Imran Khan in Tehran has been presented out of context while statement was aimed at identifying non state actors.

In a clarified statement issued by PM House spokesperson Wednesday it was said Imran Khan statement in Tehran has been taken out of context. PM Imran Khan was talking about non-state actors using Pakistani soil under foreign influence to carry out activities in Pakistan or coordinating from Pakistan,”

“Case in point is Kulbhushan Jadhav/alike and local facilitators. Likewise soil of Afghanistan and Iran was used against Pakistan.

The statement said that PM was talking about terror incident in Balochistan. This is the reason that PM was striving for peace in the region. Seeing PM statement in some other perspective will be absolutely wrong interpretation.

The spokesperson said misinterpreting the statement is not in any way a service to country.
