    3-day book Mela organized by NH&LH starts from 19th April

    Islamabad:  (Parliament Times)      The 3-days 10th Annual book festival 2019 of NBF under the guardianship of Mr. Shafqat Mahmood, Federal Minister for Education, Professional Training and organized by National History & Literary Heritage Division Starts from 19th April, 2019 (Friday) at 04:00pm in Pak China Friendship Center Islamabad. As Per previous traditions, book ambassadors, senior writers, authors, artists, teachers, students, families and book lovers will participate in a large number. This year Qaumi Mela is celebrated under the theme ‘’Kitab Taleemi Taraqqi ki Zamin”. More than 180 book sellers and publishers will install book Stalls from where the book lovers may purchase the books of their own choice on discounted price. A large number of literary and colorful programs is included such as Book Reading Sessions (Urdu, English), Seminars on Different Topics, Book Launching Ceremonies, International Mushaira, programs on Allama Iqbal, Book Ambassadors Conference, Overseas Pakistanis (Discussion & Mushaira), children programs (kids Republic) and may other programs.

    The above activities /programs would be held simultaneously at different times throughout three days and the participants have a choice to attend their favorite segment.
