Islamabad: (Parliament Times) A total of 3 matches in categories Under 11, 17 & 19 were played on Final Day in 1st DC Rawalpindi National Junior Squash Championship 2019 here at PAF
Mujahid Anwar Khan Academy, Mini Sports Complex, Liaqat Bagh Rawalpindi.
The tournament is being organized by Rawalpindi District Squash Association in collaboration
with Pakistan Squash Federation, Punjab squash association, Sweet palace, Tehzeeb Bakers,
CITI Labs, Askari Autos, Global Pharmaceuticals and ShahTaj Ghee.
1st DC Rawalpindi Junior Squash Championship 2019 with Rs. 300,000 prize money kicked off
on 14th April and completed on 17th April, 2019 Ch Naeem Anwar, organizing secretary of tournament said that he is confident that in two years’ time, talented players from newly built PAF Mujahid Anwar Khan Squash Academy, mini sports complex liaqat bagh, Rawalpindi will be ready to represent Pakistan at international level in the best possible way.
Deputy Commissioner, Rawalpindi M. Ali Randhawa graced the Final day ceremony as Chief
Guest. Speaking on the occasion DC Rawalpindi said, we foresee a long-term partnership with
the Rawalpindi District Squash Association and hope to work closely with RDSA to revive the
lost glory of Pakistan Squash & also groom the Rawalpindi players so that they can also
participate in top National & International levels tournament.
