    Chairman NAB visits Lahore, decides to supervise all cases of Sharif family by himself

    Islamabad: (Parliament Times)      Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (r) Javed Iqbal on Monday visited NAB Lahore bureau.

    Director General NAB, on the occasion, briefed Chairman NAB about latest progress on the ongoing inquiries, investigations, mega corruption cases and case of Sharif family’s assets beyond known sources of income and money laundering cases etc.

    Chairman NAB decided to directly supervise all cases of Sharif family by himself.

    Justice Javed Iqbal Chairman NAB directed NAB Lahore to withdraw summoning notice of Ms Nusrat Shahbaz,Ms Rabia Imran,Ms Javeria Ali and serve only questionnaires pertaining to their cases.

    NAB Lahore will send the questionnaires to Sharif family’s women to submit reply in their alleged involvement in assets beyond means and money laundering cases. It shows that NAB respects the dignity of women.

    Chairman NAB said that NAB strictly pursue the policy of Accountability for All without having affiliation with any political party.NAB is an independent institution and performs its duties as per law. NAB believes all people are equally in the eyes of law. All mega corruption cases will be taken to their logical conclusion as soon as possible in accordance with law as NAB has only affiliation with the state of Pakistan.
