South Waziristan: As many as 8 wedding guests including 6 women and 2 children have died as the car carrying them was swept away in flash flood in Toi Khullah Tehsil at South Waziristan.
A car carrying wedding party was caught in at flashflood on Saturday in the area of Zar Melon at Toi Khulla and 8 persons including 6 ladies and 2 children were killed . 4 children are also missing.
Rescue teams reached the scene on information and retrieved the bodies from water.
DC Noman Afzal Afridi has said searching of missing children is underway.
On the other hand local sources have said that operation is highly slow paced for want of facilities and locals are searching the children on self help basis.
