    SC seeks supplementary report from FIA in Asghar Khan case

    ISLAMABAD:     Supreme Court (SC) has sought supplementary report from FIA in Asghar Khan case.

    The court has ordered it should be identified who was running bank accounts and the record which has not been found should be held by whom.

    A two members bench of SC presided over by Justice Azmat Saeed took up the case for hearing Tuesday.
    Justice Azmat Saeed inquired from form Brig Falak Naz, director legal of ministry of defence has he filed the report what court had sought.

    He replied “ we had filed report on March 16.

    Justice Azmat Saeed remarked “ your report is not on the record. File it again.

    Justice Azmat Saeed remarked “I think those who have got the money will be traced. We will not adopt the way where FIA wants to take us We are not going to close the case.

    The counsel Suleman Akram Raja said some people have admitted their role therefore, action should be taken against them.

    Justice Azmat Saeed remarked “ we will take the case along in phases and we have to set the eye where we have to reach. .

    The court while summoning supplementary report from FIA ordered that it should be identified who was running bank accounts. Which record is not available. We should be informed about the evidence and suspicions in respect of those who had got money.

    The court ordered that it should be told in the report that the record which has not become available should be held by whom. The name of those who have refused to receive money should also be mentioned in the report.

    The hearing of the case was adjourned till April 22.
