Rawalpindi: The Food Branch officials of Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) during their visit to different areas of the city have taken stern action law violators.
According to a press statement issued here on Wednesday the RCB’s inspection team during its visit to different areas including Sadar, Peshawar Raod, Illahabad areas has inspected 20 food points out of which 10 food points were issued show cause notice for poor cleanliness arrangements at workplaces and operating without proper licenses. Moreover the authorities have collected 14 food samples from different eateries and sent to laboratory for the test.
Meanwhile, the spokesman said that RCB’s enforcement team has seized four truckloads of goods from encroachers from different areas including Sadar, Bankroad, Peshawar road, Pirwadahi Mor, Dhoke Syedan.
On the other hand, the RCB‘s Building Control department officials have issued notices to 22 property owners for illegal construction.
According to RCB spokesman, several raids have been conducted by RCB, building control department teams and the owners of buildings and structures constructed illegally have been issued notices. The staff concerned conducted raids in cant areas including Quaid-e-Azam Colony, Marble Factory area, Usmania Colony, Misrial Road, Peshawar Road and Ahmedabad and the building rules violators were served notices as RCB administration is taking action in accordance with the law against illegal constructions. The property owners were asked to submit proper building-maps in the cantonment office without any further delay.
