New York: Pakistan permanent envoy to UN Dr Maleeha Lodhi has said UN should not become tool of some countries and illegal occupation factor should also be seen in anti terrorism strategy.
Taking part in a debate in UN Security Council, she said the world should divert attention to Indian terrorism in Occupied Kashmir as there is need to place focus on the situation arising from Indian illegal occupation of Indian held Kashmir and denial to Kashmiris their right to self determination by India.
She said Pakistan has made remarkable achievements against terrorism. “ We have devised comprehensive policy of National Action Plan (NAP) against terrorism. We have made national institutions more active and robust against the terrorist organizations for choking terror financing and preventing them from terror acts. .
She stressed that world should pay attention to Indian terrorism in Occupied Kashmir. We need to address the root causes rather than symptoms of terrorism
