APHC-AJK chapter holds a meeting in Islamabad expressing concern over the prevailing situation in OIC
Islamabad: (Parliament Times) The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter held, today, a meeting in Islamabad with its Convener, Syed Abdullah Gilani in chair.
The Hurriyat leaders expressed concern over the prevailing situation in occupied Kashmir and said that the Indian forces were committing the worst kind of human rights violations.
The participants of the meeting condemned the imposition of ban on Jamaat-e-Islami and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front led by Muhammad Yasin Malik by Indian government in the occupied territory and termed it undemocratic and frustration of the Indian authorities.
The meeting also expressed concern over the illegal arrest of Hurriyat leaders by infamous Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA), saying that India could not suppress the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri leaders and people through such cheap tactics. The struggle for securing right to self-determination will continue till complete success, they added.
The Hurriyat leaders urged the international community to take notice of the Indian brutalities in occupied Kashmir. They said that Indian authorities were applying different tactics to harass the people of Kashmir but would never succeed in their nefarious designs.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, Abdul Majeed Mir, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb, Nisar Mirza, Abdul Majeed Malik, Abdul Hameed Lone, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Javed Ahmad Butt, Adeel Mushtaq Wani, Nazir Karnai, Raja Khadim Hussain, Advocate Pervez Ahmed, Haji Sultan Butt, Imtiaz Wani and Shaikh Abdul Mateen participated in the meeting.
